Mainnet launch allows developers on the Pi blockchain to launch decentralised applications (DApps) thus making them available to crypto society.

The Pi Network made big strides after transition to a fully decentralised blockchain to its Open Mainnet. After the launch, the value of the currency due to high volatility, has slipped in value. According to CMP, Pi Coin value reduced by atleast 58.98% taking the overall value to USD 0. 6971.Despite this, the crypto community sentiment appears to be largely bullish.

After trading at around USD 1.50 on MEXC, and around USD 1.20 on Get.io, the value of the cryptocurrency has dipped, shrinking below the USD 1 mark, as per the latest data from Trading View. The coin has a market cap of USD 4.59 billion.
